There was some very good scoring in Sunday's Stableford, Simon Randall scored an exceptional 44 pts in winning Division II a great result putting in to practice his Lesson from the week before, Jamie Muffett also broke the forty point mark scoring 41 pts to win Division III. Paul Day 38 pts took Division I from Steve Butler 37 pts, Steve had also had a Lesson to get him back on track a couple of days before, Ben Templeman 35 pts was third. Steve Leonard 37 pts was second to Simon in Division II with Carlton Grogan 35 pts in third while Eddie Gachette 39 pts and Bruce Anthony 36 pts were second and third respectively in Division III. Two's were a rarity with only Steve Nelson, Chris Wright & Mick Carroll scoring the magic number. 

The weather wasn't very good in the morning for Wednesday's Mid-Week Medal, but it did get better later, Luke Lawson 80-11 = 69 took Division I from Rob Edwards 83-12 = 71 and Giovanni Rizzo 86-15 =71, Josh Smith 97-21 = 76 topped Division II from John Lavender 102-24 = 78 and Malc Wiles 99-21 =78 with only Rob Cottingham and Ash Anthony securing a Two.

Rob Cottingham, Ian Fane, Giovanni Rizzo and Jay Willis are going to play 72 Holes on 3rd June, they are going to complete this challenge to raise money for an amazingly brave 8 year old called Rico who is fighting bacterial meningitis, he has lost his right foot and all the toes, his heel and part of the outside of his left foot. - Junior Membership for a year is a very reasonable £25 for Rookies and £64.75 for Juniors (including unlimited Golf on both the Lakes and Academy courses and all the Lessons)  

Wednesday 1st June, Sunday 5th June, Sunday 3rd July, Wednesday 27th July, Wednesday 3rd August, Sunday 7th August, Wednesday 10th August, Wednesday 17th August, Wednesday 24th August, Wednesday 31st August and Sunday 4th September.

There is also a host of competitions over the season to be played off the new Junior Tees on the Lakes Course.
