We had a very busy week of competitions culminating on Sunday with the Tiger ERA Trophy, Stefan Brand continued his excellent run of form coinciding with the purchase and fitting of a new Nike Vapor Fly Driver!! His 89-25=65 produced a three shot victory with his Father and Club Captain Steve Brand 81-13=68 in second on count back from Brendan Greville 72-4=68, Eddie Gachette 87-19=68 and Pete Roberts 88-20=68. The Two's Sweep Winners and Qualifiers were Colin Lockwood, Jeremy Knight, Mark Weston, Dave Bridges, Pete Roberts & Jason Willis. 

Ian MacDonald and Dave McQuillen scored 43 pts to win Saturday's Pairs Stableford from Pat Reidy & Danny Phillips 41 pts, John McCann & Gordon Thompson 40 pts on count back after a tie with Pete Corley & Andy Everett with Chris Waller & Danny Huddlestone 39 pts in fifth. The Two's Sweep winners were Pete Howard, Gordon Thompson, Paul Harford, Roger Clarke & Ian MacDonald. 

Everybody that played in the Mid-Week Medal deserves one! Conditions were truly horrible, windy wet and cold. Andy Hunt 94-15=79 won Division I from Lee Watts 86-7=79 and Pete Howard 93-13=80 while Mark Weston 98-18=80 took Division II from Andrew Locke 114-28=86 with Alan Stokes in third, nobody managed a Two.

72 Hole Charity Challenge 

Congratulations to Rob Cottingham, Ian Fane, Giovanni Rizzo and Jay Willis who completed their 72 Hole Challenge last Friday in excellent times respectively of:

- 3 and a half hours, 

Scoring Stableford best two scores from four of: 

- 86
- 85
- 84
- 89. 

Along with a Fun Day at the Fenman in Stanground they raised in the region of £4500 which is going towards an electric wheelchair for a local young man called Rico who is battling against a very rare form of meningitis, a massive well done to all involved.

Lincolnshire Past and Present Senior's Captains Day - Monday 13th June 

We are very proud to be hosting this event on next Monday 13th June and will welcoming Senior Captains from all over Lincolnshire, the course will be closed until approximately 2.30 pm on Monday, but 1st tee will also be closed on the afternoon of Sunday 12th June from 2 pm to for the Green Staff to prepare the course.

Throughout the season there is a series of Coaching Sessions for both Rookies (10 and Under) and Juniors (11-18 years), please see the dates below.
 
- All  sessions Free to members and only £3 a session to non Members
- Junior Membership for a year is a very reasonable £25 for Rookies and £64.75 for Juniors (including unlimited Golf on both the Lakes and Academy courses and all the Lessons)   

   

Sunday 3rd July, Wednesday 27th July, Wednesday 3rd August, Sunday 7th August, Wednesday 10th August, Wednesday 17th August, Wednesday 24th August, Wednesday 31st August and Sunday 4th September.

There is also a host of competitions over the season to be played off the new Junior Tees on the Lakes Course.
