I think it is fair to say that both of last week's competitions were played in challenging conditions, well done to everybody that took on the strong winds and stormy conditions. Both the Midweek Medal and Sunday's Stableford saw the Competition Scratch Score rise three shots to 74 making both Handicap Reductions only. Jeff Neveling 86-11=75 beat Paul Pamphillon 84-9=75 after count back to win Division I with Steve Leonard 92-13=79 in third. Des Chapman 99-26=73 produced the best round of the day securing Division III from Ian Booty 94-20=74 and Paul Cooper 99-19=80. The Two's Sweep winners were John Zajac, Andy Brown, Danny Phillips & Ben Cottingham.

Sunday's Stableford was also a tough day for scoring, Pete Howard and Declan Morgan were the top scorers on the day with 36 pts, Pete winning Division II and Declan Division III. Division I saw Nigel Bunn come out on top with 32 pts from Paul Chiverton 31 pts and Paul Pamphillon 30 pts, Pat Reidy 32 pts followed Pete home in Division II with Angelo Antonucci third on 30 pts while Danny Huddlestone and Pete Roberts finished second and third respectively in Division III after both scored 32 pts. Sunday's Two's Sweep winners were Lee Watts, Alan Buckby, Sean Briant and Alan Clack.

Scratch Teams

The Scratch Teams both lost close matches last weekend with the A Team going down by three and a half matches to two and a half against South Kyme at Home while the B Team went down by four matches to two away also to South Kyme.
