Captains' Drive In - Sunday, 26 February 2017
It was great to see so many golfers play in the Captain's Drive In on Sunday, welcoming Ian Macdonald, Paul Cooper, Gill Wilson and Thomas Holman into office.
The conditions were nice and fresh although a little windy shall we say and with a lot of the tees going back the course played a lot longer. Stuart Stirling, Rob Edwards, Paul Rawlings and Les Burton mastered the conditions the best scoring 59.5 to just pip Andy Phillips, Steve Cooper, Nigel Bryan and Graham Cooper on 59.5. Myself, Mickey Moore, James Sly and Darren Hunt in third on 60.2.
Jim Dudley took the men's long drive on the 13th and Anne Edwards the ladies on the eigth. The nearest the pins were secured by Jim Dudley on the second, Paul Rawlings on the seventh, Andy Hunt on the 11th and Ian Fane on the 17th Hole.
All of the Captain's would like to thank everybody that participated and helped raise over £200 on the day for the Charities.
Club Diaries
The club diaries are now available from the members bar and the competitions start this Saturday with the March Hare Medal, please give the shop a call if you would like to play.

NEW PING i200 Irons - Fitting Now Available
We now have the new PING i200 Irons available for Custom Fit, this new iron is made for forgiveness but has very clean looks and offers workability, so is aimed at the golfer that likes the look of a thinner club but doesn't want to sacrifice the room for error of a full game improvement cavity back. They have an active elastomer back for feel and a thinner face to give a soft feel while offering a powerful flight, there is new weighting for the toe again to assist in off centre hits.
