Rob Jackson Memorial Pairs

It was family success for Pete Roberts and his daughter, Jade, on Saturday in the Rob Jackson Memorial Pairs. They scored a magnificent 48 pts to win a year's FREE membership each. Congratulations to you both and well-played! There was a four way tie behind them all on 44 pts split on countback in the following order: Paul Harford & M Fovargue; Jason Willis & W Bates; Paul Day & T Wilson; and Wayne Gray & N Papworth. 

Sunday Stableford

Sunday's Stableford also produced some good scoring in windy conditions. Stuart Stirling, 40 pts, topped Division I from Paul Chiverton, 37 pts, and John Zajac, 36 pts. Division II saw Glen Howden, 39 pts, take top spot from Eddie Gachette, 37 pts, and Gary Thornhill, 35 pts. Simon Anthony's 39 pts piped Faz Mohammed, 38 pts, in Division III with Steve Ayre, 33 pts, in third. 

The two's sweep winners were Stuart Stirling, Andy Everitt, Nigel Bull and Gary Thornhill. 

Team Stableford

The good scoring continued in Monday's Team Stableford. Roxy Jones and Lady Captain Gill Wilson playing with Anne Edwards scored 97 pts to edge out their respective husbands Lee Jones and Graham Wilson along with Jeremy Knight who scored 96 pts. Steve Cooper, Art Cooper and Nidge Bryan were third on 92 pts. 

The two's sweep winners and qualifiers were Paul Harford, Nick Burbridge, Paul Rawlings, Dianne Willis, Lee Watts and Georgia Sly. 

Midweek Competitions

The Midweek Competitions also started last week and John Lavender 37 pts top scored in very difficult conditions. Norm Wainwright took Division I from Dep Patel and Jason Willis on countback after all tied on 33 pts. Malc Wiles 33 pts and Keith McCracken 31 pts followed John home in Division II. 

Rob Drewery was the only two's sweep winner.

The draw for the singles and doubles knockouts has now been made. These can be viewed in the men's changing rooms and also on HDID.
