A very successful Captain's Day

Congratulations to everybody involved in Ian Mcdonald's Captain's Day as a magnificent sum in excess of £2000 was raised for the Breast Cancer Charity. Bruce Anthony, Mickey Moore & Scott Thompson scored 105 pts to take overall victory from Merv Bloom, Pat Bloom & Chris Rippon 102 pts with Giovanni Luparia, Dep Patel & Alex Gifford in third with 100 pts.

Fine scoring in the Midweek Medal...

There was some excellent scoring in the Midweek Medal with Neal Holdsworth 77-13 = 64 being the stand out performance in winning Division I from Andre Pringle 79-13=66 and Norm Wainwright 85-16=69. Malc Wiles 92-21=71 took Division II from Mark Weston 90-18=72 and Sean Briant 95-23=72. John Unwin and Andre Pringle shared the twos sweep.

Division I: 1st - Neal Holdsworth 77-13 = 64; 2nd - Andre Pringle 79-13 = 66; 3rd - Norm Wainwright 85-16 = 69.

Division II: 1st - Malc Wiles 92-21 = 71; 2nd - Mark Weston 90-18 = 72 (bb9); 3rd - Sean Briant 95-23 = 72 (bb9).

The good scoring continued in Sunday's Stableford...

The good scoring continued in Sunday's Stableford as Mark Weston topped Division III with 43 pts while Glen Howden 41 pts took Division II. Division I saw a three way tie on 37 pts with Paul Day coming out on top on countback from Pete Corley and Ian Weller. Danny Huddlestone 40 pts followed Glen home in Division II with Steve Batchelor 3rd on 39 pts. Colin Lockwood 38 pts and Malc Wiles 37 pts came 2nd and 3rd to Mark respectively in Division III.

The twos sweep winners were Kevin Rayner, Phil Bell, Paul Rawlings, Chris Waller and Graham Wilson.

Fitting day

Cobra fitting day this Friday

We are holding a Cobra fitting day this Friday 14th July from 1pm-5pm and this is a great chance to demo the full range of Cobra products which include the excellent F7 range of drivers, fairways, hybrids and not forgetting the very innovative One Length Irons. This range has proved to be very user friendly and we have had excellent successes in both finding extra distance and consistency for everyone we have fitted so far this season.

PING G400 is here

Ahead of the launch of the new PING G400 range of drivers, fairways, hybrids at the end of this month we have the iron range now available with our Fitting System now in store.

This club has been designed to offer more distance from your irons with the new face-flexing technology, launching the ball higher and faster with the added help of the COR-Eye which has been expanded on from the previous G model. We have the new Motocaddy S5 CONNECT Electric Trolley in stock.
