Captain's Choice

Sean Evans, Dave Bridges & Brendan Greville scored 42pts to edge out Captain Ian Mcdonald, Gav Heaton and Nigel Bunn on countback with John Lavender, Nigel Brown and Wayne Jupp one point further back on 41 pts. Whilst talking to everyone as they came off the course, the general consensus was that they enjoyed the modified Texas Scramble format, which certainly created more pressure on the tee shots.

Midweek Medal

With the nights now closing in, last week saw the final midweek medal of the season. Chris Caffyn 87-17=70 topped division one from Wayne Jupp 85-13=72 and Phil Bell 85-12=73. Roger Clarke 93-19=74 took division two from John Smith 97-19=78 and Lee Sanders 102-19=79. The twos winners and qualifiers for next month's final were Gary Kew and John Smith.
