Welcome to another edition of our newsletter, this week we have results from the third winter series event,  update you on the current standings, look forward to an ever popular upcoming event and showcase some great offers we have in the shop. Enjoy the read.

Christmas opening times

We are open over the Xmas and New Year period every day except Xmas Day, obviously depending on the weather it can be a very busy time and we will be operating a booking system on every day from Saturday 23rd until Monday 1st, so please give us a call to book a time or check for busy periods.

The Xmas Scramble will be held on Saturday 30th December, this is really popular event with all teams being drawn, please see below for details.

The times we are open are as follows;

Xmas Texas Scramble - Saturday 30th December

The entrance sheet is now on display in the Members Bar for this very popular event, remember the draw for playing partners/teams will take place on the morning of the event so you do not enter as team.

Please enter on the sheet and then you must register on the day by 7.30am with the draw for teams taking place at 7.45pm and a Shotgun Start at 8.30am. This is a great opportunity to play with new people and there is also optional Bangers & Mash afterwards for £5.  

The Winter Series Stableford

We are now half way through the Winter Series and Michelle Pringle has a commanding lead after the three rounds, but with four scores to count there is still a long way to go and a lot of points still to play for.

Xmas gift vouchers

We have gift vouchers available which can be spent in the shop on green fees or used for golf lessons, all vouchers can be personalised and are available for any amount.

The new Cleveland CBX wedge - In stock

If you play cavity back irons but would like to play a specialist wedge without losing the forgiveness of the rest of your clubs, then this could be the wedge for you. They have the excellent Dual-V Sole that the RTX-3 also utilises as well as the Tour Zip Grooves, Laser and Micro Milling but with a slightly thicker profile and more room for error on miss hits. Why not book a wedge fitting or give a demo a trial next time you are at the club.

Under Armour autumn/winter collection

We have an excellent collection of, warm mid and outer layers plus windshirts and headwear. The new Reactor Hybrid 1/4 Zip is a very impressive garment, it is very lightweight and has low profile insulation between two layers for warmth but the design allows the free flow of air to stop you over heating, it will also repel water and has stretchy panels for excellent mobility.
