Welcome to another edition of our newsletter, in this week’s mail we have all the upcoming competition news you need to know, Paul has a commanding lead in the Winter Series Stableford, and we have lots of new products available to try in the shop. Enjoy the read!

Competition news

Winter Stableford Series

It is the penultimate event of the Winter Stableford Series this Saturday the 9th. Paul Day has a commanding lead in the overall but it could all change yet, remember each event is also an individual event so you are more than welcome to play even if you haven't competed in any of the previous events. Remember the date of the last event has now changed to the Saturday 16th February, if you would like to play in either of these competitions then please give the shop a call and we can book you in.

Captains Drive In - Sunday 17th February

The Captains Drive In takes place next week on Sunday the 17th February. Remember this has moved from its original date of 24th, there are still a few tee times available for booking in the Members Bar. The format is a Texas Sramble in teams of four, where everybody will drive off then pick the best drive and then all play your individual balls from there with the best two scores to count on each hole. I am sure it will be great day so I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the day.

PING G410 irons - Now available for fitting

This new iron has a host of new features to increase distance and playability with a larger flexing zone, toe/hosel weighting, COR-Eye Technology and they also look great!

Cobra F9 Speedback demo & fitting available…

We have the new Cobra F9 Speedback 2019 range available in demo. The F9 driver is designed to improve your clubhead speed through the new aero dynamics in the head, it has a very low centre of gravity making it very easy get up in the air as well as offering a very stable face at impact.

The milled face is the hottest and thinnest they have made offering improved ball speed even on off centre hits, the carbon fibre crown is designed to further enhance the aero dynamics reducing drag for increased club head speed as well as increasing rigidity of the head to make it extra stable at impact. Why not give one a try next time you are at the club.

Srixon Z Series - Now in stock!

Over the last few years we have stocked the Srixon Z Series and the forged irons especially have been very popular as they offer great looks, feel and playabilty. The new Z Series is now available for custom fitting, the Z785 and Z585 feel even softer than previous models, look even better and still offer a massive range of shaft and grip options with no up charges. This really does mean you can get a set of irons that are going to suit your individual characteristics and requirements. The new range of drivers, fairways, hybrids and utility irons is by far the best range they have ever made and if you get a minute the online reviews are well worth a read or watch.

The Z785 driver is packed with technology, the cup face design offers great ball speed all over the face, carbon crown which allows weight to be moved around the rest of the head for more forgiveness and the tuning system in the neck gives an amazing amount of options, with again a great choice of shafts.
