Congratulations to everyone involved in the Race Night last Saturday, I must say it was a very enjoyable although not very successful night for me! Everybody seemed to be having a good time. Captain Micky Burch and his team of helpers did a sterling job, Micky would like to thank everybody that attended, all of those that sponsored the races and individual horses, there was some very interesting names for some of the horses, very imaginative! This all resulted in £659 being raised for the Golf Club Development Fund which is a great effort.

The Lakes course was also very busy at the weekend, with the Winter League now underway and the obvious shorter hours of daylight, it becomes more important that everyone books a tee time, please contact the Pro Shop to check available times in advance.

Presentation Night - Saturday 15th November

Tickets are now available for Presentation Night Saturday 15th November, they are priced at a very reasonable £10 each to include a Carvery and Entertainment after the Presentation of prizes for the 2014 Season. It is always a good night and a great opportunity to catch up with members while celebrating with those members that have won competitions in the season. I hope to see of as many of you there as possible.
