I think it was fitting that Jordan Spieth finished the US Tour season off by winning the Tour Championship, topping the Fed Ex and returning to World No One in the process, Jason Day has also had an awesome season, but Spieth's has been sensational, two Majors and contending closely for the other two plus the other wins, all at the tender age of 22, both Day and Spieth have won five times on the US Tour this season, since 1980 only four other players have done that Tom Watson, Nick Price, Vijay Singh and only once each, Tiger Woods has done it ten times, amazing. I suppose that shows how dominant he was at his peak and that is the battle for all of the current top players, doing it year after year is the test.

Rob Edwards produced the round of the day in Sunday's Bogey, Rob scored 6 up to win Division II from Paul Rawlings and Gary Kew both on Level, Matt Deegan 2 up took Division I from Ben Templeman and Chris Rippon both on Level, Barney Shales 4 up secured Division III from Colin Crouch and Paul Cooper both on 1 up. The Two's Sweep was shared by Ben Templeman, Matt Deegan, Dave Buckle, Sean Evans, Dave Bridges, Steve Nelson, Rob Edwards, Richard Drew, Gary Kew, Steve Ayre and Graham Wilson.




 It is that time of year again, Winter League entries are now open, please see below for details. We are also going to run a Winter Series of competitions from the end of October through to February, entry will be a one of fee at the start to include all competitions, although individual entries will be taken for each event, there will be additional prizes for the best four out of six events, further details and dates will be published shortly.

"Scratch Team Bash" & Race Night

To celebrate the success of both Scratch Teams this season we are holding "Scratch Team Bash" on Saturday 17th October, there will be a FREE Buffet starting from 5.30pm and it is open to all members and their families, so why not come along?
