We had a record entry of 28 teams for Sunday's Van Kerro Texas Scramble. The scoring was very close as always with only 1.5 shots covering the first six teams, Brendan Greville, Declan Morgan, Paul Day & Gav Heaton came out on top with 58.7 from Stuart Stirling, Rob Edwards, Jim Dudley & Les Burton 59.6 with Terry Hawkins, Chris Hawkins, Jon Hawkins & Alec Kitching pipping Bruce Anthony, Denis Suter, Faz Mohammed & Steve Hurry for third place after both tied on 59.8, myself, Ben Templeman, Nick Burbridge & Clint Allen finished in fifth after a tie with Matt Deegan, Darren Hunt, Wayne Gray & Lee Watts on 60.2.

The nearest the pin prizes went to

Winter Series Stableford's 

We are running a Winter Series of Stableford's starting on Saturday, 31 October, there will be six events please see dates below. Entry will be £20 to cover entry to all events including Two's Sweep, there will be prizes in Two Divisions for all events and overall prizes at the end for the leading scores with the best four out of six to count, don't worry if you can't play in all of them you can enter each one individually also and if you play in a minimum of four this qualifies for the overall prizes. It will be arrange your own games and book a tee time. The idea is to offer some competitive golf over the winter period along side the Winter League, please ask in the Pro Shop for more details.

New Cleveland 588 RTX 2.0 Wedges - Now only £69.99 plus £10 trade in
